From one prestigious awarding event to another, inspirational-drama film Green Bones continues to shine for its excellence and remarkable contribution to the local movie industry.

Recently, the award-winning film earned another wave of recognition after receiving nominations at the 48th Gawad Urian.

As announced by the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino (MPP), Green Bones enters a total of 7 categories with eight nominations.

First off, the movie itself was nominated for Best Film. It was followed by Director Zig Dulay for Best Direction, while Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid both included at the Best Actor nominations.

Screenplay writers Ricky Lee and Anj Atienza were once again nominated for Best Screenplay.

Meanwhile, other members of the production and post-production team were also nominated: Marxie Maolen Fadul (Best Production Design), Neil Daza (Best Cinematography), and Len Calvo (Best Music).

Aside from the Gawad Urian, Green Bones is also a top contender at the 27th Gawad Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro (PASADO) Awards. It received a total of 13 nominations, including Pinakapasadong Pelikula, Pinakapasadong Aktor at Aktres, and Pinakapasadong Istorya.

The film's impact has also been recognized at the 73rd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards and the 8th Entertainment Editors' Choice Awards (The EDDYS).

Continuing its streak of excellence, Green Bones remains accessible to audiences as it streams globally on Netflix.
