GMA Pictures' official entry to the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival, Green Bones, starring Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid, is continuously receiving awards.
Filipino screenwriters Ricky Lee and Anj Atienza were recently given the Best Screenplay award at the prestigious 73rd FAMAS for their work on Green Bones.
In an interview, Green Bones director Zig Dulay revealed that Ricky and Anj were two of his inspirations for the film.
Maraming maraming salamat Sir Ricky at Miss Anj," said Direk Zig.
"Miss Anj, thank you so much. Pangalawa na ito. Pagbutihin natin sa pangatlo,” he added.
Green Bones joins the roster of FAMAS awardees like Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, who won Best Actress for Balota, JL Burgos, who won Best Director for Alipato at Muog. It was also recognized as the Best Picture.
