Congratulations to the whole team of 'Green Bones'!

Inspirational drama film Green Bones continues to make waves, earning widespread recognition for its powerful storytelling and message of humanity.

Recently, the award-winning team added another major victory to their streak, taking home over eight honors at the 27th Gawad PASADO Awards.

Kapuso main leads Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid won Pinakapasadong Aktor and Pinakapasadong Katuwang na Aktor while child star Sienna Stevens shone as Pinakapasadong Batang Aktres.

Director Zig Dulay was also recognized as Pinakapasadong Direktor, and creators Anj Atienza, Kristian Julao, and JC Rubio represented the team in receiving the Pinakapasadong Istorya award.

Adding to their impressive streak, Green Bones also won Pinakapasadong Pelikula sa Paggamit ng Wika, Pinakapasadong Disenyong Pamproduksiyon, and the top honor of Pinakapasadong Pelikula ng Taon.

"Hindi po alam ng lahat na ang inspirasyon ng Green Bones ay isang guro rin," JC shared in his speech. "Hindi lang po wikang Filipino 'yung ginamit namin kundi ang sign language. We like to share this award with the deaf community at sa Filipino sign language coaches na kasama namin on the set."

Director Zig also took the moment to express gratitude and share wisdom he learned from National Artist Ricky Lee.

"Gusto namin i-share 'yung karangalan ito sa ating National artist Ricky Lee. Siya ang nagsilbing teacher namin everytime. Sabi niya, 'Bago ka maging mahusay na filmmaker, dapat maging mabuting tao ka muna.'"

Meanwhile, Anj dedicated the team's awards to GMA Network officials and executives who continuously supported the film.

She added, "We would like to dedicate this award to all the PDLs (people deprived of liberty), who hoped for their future and to everyone who is still fighting for human rights and social justice."

Since its debut last year, Green Bones has already been a standout film. It was continuously praised for its powerful storytelling, stellar performances, and meaningful social themes.

The film remains an inspiring force, sparking heartfelt and thought-provoking conversations through film festivals, special screenings, and global streaming--now available on Netflix.
