Ready ka na bang maging multi-millionaire? Alamin kung paano laruin ang 'Power of 10'—ang game show na magbabago sa landscape ng telebisyon! Hindi lang isa, hindi lang dalawa, kundi sampung milyong pisong tumataginting ang mapapanalunan sa pinaka-bago, pinaka-engrande at pinaka-galanteng game show mula sa GMA-7 na susukat sa galing ng mga Pinoy—ang Power of 10, the newest game show na mayroong pinaka-malaking papremyong ipamimigay sa kasaysayan ng Philippine television! Miss Cecille de Guzman, Program Manager, says, "GMA is very, very proud to present to you another milestone sa mga game shows. We're starting Power of 10 on Sunday, May 10, the biggest game show na maglo-launch on Philippine television. We're giving away 10 million pesos." Kasama ang batikang host, singer, at komedyanteng si Janno Gibbs, ang Power of 10 ay naglalayong alamin ang powers ng mga Pinoy sa pagtantiya at pagpulso kung ilang porsiyento ng publiko ang sumagot sa isang tanong. Ang makapagbibigay ng eksakto o pinakamalapit na sagot ang may pagkakataong makapag-uwi ng P10 milyon. Created by 2waytraffic of the Sony Entertainment Company, it has been localized sa iba't-ibang parte ng mundo. And according to Miss Cecille, "We're the third in Asia to localize the show; the first one was India and the second was Vietnam." Power of 10 consists of two rounds with questions based sa showbiz, current events, pop culture, and general information. Sa bawa't laro, two Power Players will battle it out in the first round to answer five questions, based on the results of surveys conducted by GMA-7. All answers must be given in percentages, like this: Question: Ilang porsiyento ng mga Pilipino ang nakaranas na ng "love at first sight?" Answer: Sixty four percent. Ang player na makakapuntos ng tatlong beses, by getting the closest percentage or actual answer, ang mananalo sa round na ito at susubok para masungkit ang P10 milyon. Host Janno Gibbs says, "Isang professional group po talaga 'yung nagsu-survey nationwide, tapos spread out ang bracket niya, [class] A, B, C, D." This way, mas encompassing ang mga tanong at mas varied ang mga sagot na makukuha; mas kuha ang pulso ng masa sa bawa't sulok ng Pilipinas. Now, once makapasa na ang isang contestant sa jackpot round, he or she must then answer five questions para manalo ng P10 million. Every answer is worth an amount ten times higher than the previous prize. For the first question, the value is P1,000 while in the second question, the prize increases to P10,000. The third question has a corresponding prize of P100,000, while the fourth question has a cash prize of P1 million. For the fifth question, the player must give the exact answer or percentage to bring home the jackpot prize of P10 million! So why be satisfied sa isang game show that gives away a measly P1 million cash prize? Kakayanin ba ng powers mo ang Power of 10?
