Gwen Zamora and DJ Semerad revealed what made them pack their bags and leave Manila at the start of the enhanced community quarantine in their recent vlog.

Gwen and DJ ended up spending five months with their son Cooper in Batangas due to the lockdown, but their family moved back to Manila in July.

The couple terribly misses their cabin home that they reminisced about their life in the province in their latest vlog.

Gwen and DJ entertained questions about their quarantine experience, revealing what compelled them to choose the cabin life over their city home.

The former Bubble Gang star disclosed, “The first thing that came to mind was we needed to kind of escape to a safe haven especially because back in Manila, we were staying in a condo unit which was more risky especially with the virus. That was the main reason why we chose to go to the farm.”

Gwen and DJ claimed that getting locked down in Batangas also meant ticking this off their bucket list since they had been longing to spend more time at their cabin.

They also looked back at this chill and laid-back episode, sharing how their day went by in the province, the many do-it-yourself and home improvement projects they accomplished, baby Cooper's milestones that they got to witness without distractions, and how they look forward to spending more days again in their humble home.

Gwen and DJ had to postpone their wedding which was originally scheduled on June 6, 2020 due to the pandemic. While they decided to delay the ceremony, the couple was still pleased because they have also decided to get married in Batangas once extensions and renovations of their cabin home are done.
