Gwen is very serious when she plays Alejandra in Innamorata. But she lights up when she talks about her boyfriend of almost two years, Raymund Romualdez, son of Tacloban Mayor Alfred Romualdez.


Gwen Zamora is very strict and serious when she plays Alejandra in Innamorata.

But the beautiful Kapuso star lights up when she talks about her boyfriend of almost two years, Raymund Romualdez, son of Tacloban Mayor Alfred Romualdez.

Gwen said Raymund is very sweet and doesn’t run out of ways to make her happy and giddy.

She recalled the surprise that he gave her on their first anniversary while she was on the set of Binoy Henyo.

“He arranged everything with ‘yung EP (executive producer), my PA (production assistant), (etc.). He prepared a table in the garden in the house where we were taping, and then (he brought) my favorite food and with flowers,” she shared.

The Filipina-Italian actress was impressed with how thoughtfully and intricately he does things for her. “I had taping in the morning… and then yung next scene ko, gabi. (The rest of the cast and crew) were gonna change locations rin. So I went home, I got to my room, (then) there was like a whole setup of roses on my bed, shaped liked a heart,” she added.

Aside from the day’s anniversary celebration, they went to Sonja’s Garden the following day, then Raymund brought her to her mall show in Batangas.

For Gwen, the reason the relationship is going really well is that they were friends to begin with. “We’ve been friends for five years (before we became boyfriend and girlfriend),” she said.

Despite their undeniable chemistry, she acknowledged that maintaining any relationship requires effort from both sides. “Listen to each other. The moment you feel something’s wrong, let it out. The more you keep your problems in, the more unstable your relationship is gonna be. You have to be honest with each other,” she advised.
