Like other celebrities, Gwen Zamora also turns to cosmetic treatments to address some of her skin issues.
The celebrity mom confessed that after giving birth to her two children, weight loss became her biggest insecurity.
First, I started with the weight loss because I did gain a lot after I gave birth to my two children. With my first child, I had a really hard time losing the weight. And when I finally lost the weight, I got pregnant again. So, I had to go through the process of losing weight again,” she shared in an interview after signing an endorsement deal, along with her husband David Semerad, with Exion and Cosma Aesthetics and Lifestyle Institute on Wednesday, April 9.
Since she has lost some weight, Gwen admitted, “My biggest insecurity is my weight. But now that the weight has gone down, parang the texture on my skin, on my face has dropped or sagged, especially around the eye area. So, that's my biggest insecurity at the moment.
“Medyo natamaan ang texture ng skin, which is why I'm so thankful for having Exion now in my life because it's helping with the loose skin that I have around my abdomen and my arms.
“I can feel it talaga, I have a problem with the back of my arms. When I did the Exion, parang there's less fat in that layer when I pinch it. I felt the difference agad.”
To continue with her fitness transformation, the 34-year-old celebrity said, “I'm really committing with my journey with Cosma. Doc Jay [Co, owner] gave me such a beautiful one-year program with mix of injectables and machines.”

Aside from weight loss, Gwen was also asked about Botox, a popular cosmetic treatment for wrinkles. It includes injectables and non-injectable methods such as microneedling and chemical peels.
The actress said she's open to having it, but only on a specific part of her face: the forehead.
“I'm okay with Botox, but I've only kept it here, on the lines here [forehead],” she said.
“I don't get it on the rest of my face because I do plan on going back to acting. I want full control of my face. I wanna keep my face as expressive as possible but enhancing what might need enhancing.
“I know I have problems with my eye bags, so that's what we're gonna be addressing. We're gonna be doing some machines and some injectables, and some threads maybe to address the lifting of my face. I'm all open about that.”

Showbiz comeback
Meanwhile, it's been about seven years since Gwen's last acting project. The actress took a break from her showbiz career to focus on her family. But now, she is more than ready to be in front of the camera.
“I super miss it. I miss the acting, the crying, the script. The comedy, I miss it as well. So, sana talaga soon,” the former Bubble Gang star said.
According to her, she is not limiting herself to what kind of projects to accept: “To be honest, kahit ano. Kasi nami-miss ko naman lahat, e. I've tapped in all genres and I miss all the characters I could potentially play.”
However, she might have some considerations in which character to play since she's already a mom of two kids.
She explained, “I don't wanna be watching my show that I'm in with my children and halfway through I have to turn it off because… [covers her chest].”
In connection with this, her husband, David, expressed full support for her plan to go back to showbiz.
“Well, it's her passion. If it's something that she enjoys, I don't wanna take that away from her. So, while she's young as well so I want her to enjoy and just support,” he concluded.
