Han So-hee is reportedly in talks to star alongside Byeon Woo-seok in Netflix's upcoming live-action adaptation of Solo Leveling.
The highly anticipated live-action adaptation of Solo Leveling may bring together two of Korea's hottest stars.
On August 30, Han So-hee agency, 9ato Entertainment, addressed reports claiming she had already been cast as the female lead. The agency clarified, “Solo Leveling is one of the projects that [Han So-hee] is currently in talks for.”
Earlier this year, Byeon Woo-seok was officially confirmed to take on the lead role of Sung Jin-woo, the underdog E-rank Hunter who, after a near-fatal encounter, gains extraordinary powers and rises as humanity's unexpected savior. Fans are now speculating that Han So-hee is being considered for the role of Cha Hae-in, the strong and skilled Hunter who becomes a key figure in Jin-woo's journey.
Solo Leveling first captured audiences as a web novel, later expanding into a popular webtoon and an animated series. The story's transition to live-action has been one of the most anticipated adaptations in recent years.
Han So-hee is known for her roles in Gyeongseong Creature, The World of the Married, Nevertheless, My Name, and many other shows and films.
Meanwhile, Byeon Woo-seok is notable for his appearance in Lovely Runner, Strong Girl Nam-soon, Record of Youth, among others.
With Byeon Woo-seok confirmed and Han So-hee potentially joining the cast, expectations are running high.
