Take a trip down to Lucban, Quezon and enjoy the province's quiet charm
If you're a massive fan of the epic fantasy novel, The Lord of the Rings, then you might be dreaming of flying to New Zealand to see the famous Hobbit Houses.
For the uninitiated, these so-called hobbit houses are the half-buried hillside homes of the Hobbit characters in J.R.R. Tolkien's famous fiction novel.
These houses were vividly showcased in The Lord of the Rings trilogy directed by Peter Jackson released between 2001 and 2003.
The set location of these Hobbit houses are in the lush small town of Matamata in New Zealand.
Today, this place is called Hobbiton and is visited by tourists who are looking to experience a slice of hobbit life.
Unfortunately, not all of us can fork out enough cash to fly to New Zealand. And if you can, booking a flight at this time of a global pandemic is not entirely viable.
But you can still get a taste of the Hobbit lifestyle by visiting a resort located in Lucban, Quezon.

The Batis Aramin Resort and Hotel has an area called Teresita's Garden and it features a replica of Hobbiton complete with tiny wooden houses.
The Hobbiton is just part of the entire garden attraction.
Visitors can also enjoy the sights of greenery and flowers perfect for photos with friends, loved ones, and of course, selfies.
