GMA News Online confirmed today, March 25, that Aquilino "Kiko" Pimentel III contracted the disease.

Kathryna Yu, wife of Sen. Pimentel, is now pregnant with their first child.

Sen. Pimentel tied the knot in 2018 in a civil wedding ceremony at the Coconut Palace.

The senator has two sons with former beauty queen Jewel Lobaton and they were separated in 2012.
