Iza Calzado: "It hits you, e, na how come I survived and they did not."

Inamin ng aktres na si Iza Calzado na nakararanas siya ng survivors guilt makaraang maka-survive sa nakamamatay na 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Ang survivors guilt ay sintomas ng post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) na nararanasan ng mga taong nagtagumpay o nagawang mabuhay sa kabila ng pinagdaanang life-threatening situation.

“You see the number of deaths, umiiyak talaga ako,” ani Iza.

“It hits you, e, na how come I survived and they did not. People are losing loved ones in three days.

"'Yung parang one minute they're there then the next day, they're not. I know what that's like,” sabi pa niya.

Sinabi rin ni Iza na kung puwede lang niyang bigyan ng lakas ang mga kagaya niya noong pasyente, nagawa na niya para pareho silang maka-survive.

“I kind of wish that I was able to give some of my energy to the others so we could have survived this together,” aniya.

Matapos ang pakikipaglaban sa sakit, handa umanong mag-donate ng plasma si Iza sa para mahanap ang gamot sa COVID-19.

“Hindi pa ako puwedeng magbigay kasi hindi pa ako 14 days from my first negative. After Easter. I'm already in touch with PGH,” dagdag pa niya.

Isa rin umanong living testimony ang aktres na may awa ang Panginoon at mapagtatagumpayan ng mga bansa ang pagsubok. “Thank you, God. At thank you talaga sa lahat ng nagdasal, grabe. Kaya natin.”
