Pia Wurtzbach couldn't wait to hug her family, "Konting tiis na lang."

Former Miss Universe titlist Pia Wurztbach is not taking any chances and practiced self-quarantine upon arriving in the United Kingdom, where she visited her family.

Pia's sister, Sarah, is currently in the United Kingdom.

On her Instagram post last July 24, the Pinay beauty queen shared some photos of her family members visiting her while in isolation.

The photos showed how her family practiced social distancing when they dropped off some essential items for her.

Pia also expressed that she is looking forward to the moment when she can already hug them.

“One more week of self-isolation and I get to hug my family.

"Thank you sis for dropping by to literally drop groceries by the gate finally makakakain na ko ng adobo hahaha.

“It's an odd feeling only seeing family and not being able to hug them but its all good its only temporary and for the safety of everyone!

"Konting tiis nalang and I love that little Lara knows and understands social distancing.”

In addition, Pia Wurztbach shared some of her observations on how the United Kingdom is implementing safety protocols, like wearing face masks, amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“At sa mga nagtataka po this photo was taken a few days ago pa, yung pagsuot ng masks sa UK today [July 24] lang po naging mandatory dito at children below 11 yrs old di po kailangan magsuot. Iba iba po talaga mga patakaran depende kung nasaang bansa ka.”

She ended her post by reminding everyone to follow the rules on wearing personal protective equipment (PPEs) and for those people who are with their family to give them a hug.

“Keep safe everyone at sumunod po tayo sa mga protocol! At sa mga nakakasama naman yung pamilya nila ngayon naku ihug nyo po sila ng mahigpit dahil napaka swerte nyo po na nakakasama nyo sila!
