“I wish it was only me,” confesses Dwayne Johnson as he shares he and his family have contracted the virus.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson told fans on Thursday (Philippine Time) that he and his family have all tested positive for COVID-19.

The former WWE wrestler revealed in an 11-minute Instagram video that he, his wife Lauren, and their daughters Jasmine and Tiana, have been sick with the virus.

He said, “This has been one of the most challenging and difficult things we ever have to endure as a family.

“And me, I've gone through some doozies in the past but testing positive for COVID-19 is much more challenging than overcoming nasty injuries or being evicted, or being broke.

“The reason why I feel this is different is because my number one priority is to always protect my family and protect my children.”

Fortunately, the actor said he and his family are “no longer contagious.”

Dwayne added, “I wish it was only me that tested positive but it was my entire family, and it was a kick in the gut.

“We as a family are good, we're on the other end of it and no longer contagious. Thank God, we're healthy.”

He wrapped up the video by reminding his fans to stay disciplined when it comes to adhering to health protocols.

“Say disciplined. Boost your immune system. Commit to wellness. Wear your mask. Protect your family,” he captioned in the post.

“Be strict about having people over your house or gatherings. Stay positive and care for your fellow human beings.”
