“Sa panahon ng pagtaas muli ng kaso ng COVID-19, siguraduhin ang proteksyon ng sarili at ng pamilya upang mapalakas ang panlaban sa COVID-19,” writes Barbie Forteza.

Kapuso couple Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto, together with the former's parents, just received their booster shots against COVID-19 today, January 8.

The Kapuso Primetime Princess announced the great news on social media, where she shared a photo with her significant other and her parents, Amy and Antonio Forteza, at the Solaire Theater.

The award-winning actress also posted two videos showing her and Jak getting inoculated with the vaccine.

She wrote, “Yay! Nakapagpa-booster na kami! Sa panahon ng pagtaas muli ng kaso ng COVID-19, siguraduhin ang proteksyon ng sarili at ng pamilya upang mapalakas ang panlaban sa COVID-19!”

Before ending her post, the Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune star urged everyone to get vaccinated and get their booster shots as soon as possible.

She added, “Get vaccinated/boosted now!!!”

Among those who already received their COVID-19 boosters include Pepito Manaloto star Manilyn Reyes, her husband Aljon Jimenez, Filipino-Canadian content creator Mikey Bustos, and his partner RJ Garcia.

According to GMA News, there are 26,458 new cases for COVID-19 in the country as of January 8, 2022.
