The five-year-old is among the kids who have gotten the COVID-19 jab after the government expanded its vaccination program to children aged five to 11 years old.

Iya Villania and Drew Arellano's eldest son Primo, 5, has received the first dose of his protection against COVID-19 on Monday, February 14.

“We are on our way to the hospital to get vaccinated,” Drew shared via Instagram stories.

Asked about how he felt about his impending jab, Primo said, “A little scared but it will be okay."

Drew then expressed how proud he was of his son, promising to stay with him throughout the whole experience. “Proud of you, buddy. Papa's going to be there, okay?”

The Arellano family, together with their children - Primo, Leon, and Alana, recently recovered from their own encounter versus the dreaded coronavirus.
