Guess who's helping with the wedding planning?

With only four months to go before their Feb. 15 wedding, Heart Evangelista and Sen. Chiz Escudero have completed their 15 pairs of principal sponsors.

The engaged couple met with GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon this afternoon (Oct. 9) to formally invite him to their wedding.

“Of course, siyempre naman dahil inalagaan ako nyan. And aside from that, of course, they’re friends. And tama lang naman talaga na siya ‘yung isa sa ninong namin,” Heart told 24 Oras.

Heart’s manager Arnold Mendoza also shared via social media a snippet of the intimate meeting.

The couple then visited the office of GMA President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr. The latter’s father, former Congressman Gilberto Duavit, Sr. is also among Heart and Sen. Chiz’s principal sponsors.

Heart and Sen. Chiz have chosen showbiz and non-showbiz personalities for their big day.

Included are Viva Chairman and CEO Vic Del Rosario, Jr., GMA news anchor and host Mel Tiangco, Susan Roces, and Eddie Garcia, who is the senator’s grand uncle.

Arnold had another post on Instagram showing the couple with their soon-to-be ninang Ms. Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA’s Senior Vice President for Entertainment.

While it seems the couple is more than half-way done in their wedding preparations, they are still anticipating the presence of Heart’s parents on their wedding day.

The TV host and actress said that her mom, Mrs. Cecile Ongpauco, is in the US to help her with the other preparations.

Heart and her mom had objected to her relationship with Sen. Chiz but they have recently reconciled.

“Okay naman kami ng mommy ko. In fact, she was even offering to look for my shoes in the States. We have a lifetime to fix things,” Heart concluded.
