Heart Evangelista could not help but become emotional as she talked about the baby that she could have had.

During the continuation of Heart and Chiz Escudero's guesting in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, she was asked about her statement in a previous interview where she shared that she's ready to be a mom.

However, Heart said it's “a touchy why” to talk about before revealing that she and Chiz recently lost a baby. Heart and Chiz are trying to get pregnant through in vitro fertilization.

“I wasn't pregnant, but I was expecting my only girl that I have left, eggs, so at the time, I thought that she's gonna make it but she didn't so that one was a bit hard for me,” she said.

The global fashion and style icon revealed that she was already preparing for her daughter and was so excited that she gave her the name Sophia Heart.

“I was really preparing for her, I really thought that I'm gonna have a baby at the time so I thought like with everything that we went through, it was finally gonna happen, but it didn't,” she said.

Heart said that they were expecting the baby during the time that she had her interview with Boy Abunda in February and found out that her baby didn't make it the day before their second wedding.

She clarified though that she's “not the type to question it” but admitted that she's sad “because I thought I was gonna be able to share what I do with my last girl so it's a little hard, but I'm not questioning anything.”

“Actually I cry not because I wasn't given what I want and I'm a spoiled child, I cry because it took so hard for me to produce the egg and so it was hard for me to accept the fact,” she said.

When asked about what he felt when they found out, Chiz said that while he's predisposed to accept God's will, he said the same thing to heart.

“If it's not now, if it's not this [time], may mas maganda pang nakaplano. Intayin lang namin 'yun,” he said.

It was in 2018 when Heart revealed that she was expecting twins but a month later she suffered a miscarriage and lost the babies.
