Heart Evangelista and Marian Rivera are now following each other on Instagram.

While this should not come as a big surprise as both of them belong to the same network, GMA Network, it's a welcome development (and a cause for celebration), especially since these two stars never really got around to working with each other again for many years.

The last time they were seen together in the same project was in in the 2011 comedy movie, Temptation Island. Since then, the Global Fashion Icon and the Against All Odds star were never seen or photographed together again, even when they moved almost in the same showbiz circles and attended the same events.

From the looks of it, whatever transpired between the two superstars that kept them out of each other's radar (and out of each other's hair), seem to be water under the bridge now.

Heart Evangelista has been busy collaborating with different brands and attending many fashion-related events. Whenever she has the time, she engages with her fans through Q&As on her social media accounts. Some of her answers would get picked up and reposted on other platforms by her many fans, especially when the topic is about her life behind the camera or her adventures in Paris.

Recently, Heart Evangelista showed her support for her fellow Sparkle artist Alden Richards by watching the new movie Five Breakups and A Romance at the cinemas with the lead star himself.

Aside from taking care of her family, Marian Rivera-Dantes is busy working on Against All Odds, the teleserye in which she stars opposite Gabby Concepcion. She's also gearing up for her movie with Dingdong Dantes, Rewind, which is included in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival 2023.

During her spare time, Marian Rivera indulges her fans by doing various dance challenges on TikTok, some of which had her husband Dingdong Dantes dancing as well.

According to a reliable source, the two stars have been in touch in private. With their communication lines now open, a face-to-face meeting to "reconnect" is in the offing, for sure. With the help and support of their super close friends, they are said to be taking things slow and easy, too.

This is something to watch for! Baby steps, yes, but it's a big win for women empowerment!
