Fans and followers were quick to accept the apology of the Kapuso actress and even advised that Heart should use her platform that encourages change.
it is not hate miss heart. it is for you to understand which one needs to call out for. Use your platform not just to spread positivity but POSITIVITY THAT ENCOURAGES CHANGE. So Miss Cynthia and other sick Filipinos wouldnt have to walk anymore

Love you, Miss Heart! Thanks for assessing yourself, too. But I totally got what you meant. I felt what you felt upon seeing Cynthia's positive aura. You are loved, Love. Admitting to a minor (and unintentional and misunderstandood) mistake is what makes you humble. Love you!❤💯

Hi Heart. I hope you take this time to ruminate on this and next time find a balance--look at the silver lining but address the dark cloud that has it too, okay? I may not be able to speak on behalf of everyone but I appreciate this apology.

P.S. I loved you as Missy. 🙂
Earlier today, March 18, Heart Evangelista received a series of negative comments from netizens about bone cancer patient Cynthia Espiritu.
In the now-deleted tweet, Heart reposted a video by GMA News that shows Cynthia explaining that she has to walk from Masinag to Marcos Highway to be able to go to PGH for her checkup.
To which Heart wrote, “Dearest Cynthia, thank you for inspiring others to smile and stay positive. God bless you and your friend.”
To which she later clarified, “I'm saying so many people are complaining at home while Cynthia is still trying to be very positive.
“Why are you hating so much? Guys, stop hating. Ang sama na ng mga nangyayari. Let's try to lift each other.”
Heart is one of the few celebrities who were called out by netizens for their comments about the enhanced community quarantine.
Included in the list are singer Lea Salonga, TV personality James Deakin, and influencer Cat Arambulo-Antonio.
