Aside from being intelligent, gorgeous, and talented, Heart Evangelista is also an artist. She paints empty canvasses (and bags too) and brings them to life with her own creative vision.

Last year, Heart successfully launched two books, a children's book and her own beauty book.

Now, the Kapuso leading lady is back to creating art for books! Heart collaborated with Filipino poet Arnel Patawaran for his poetry book "HAI |NA| KU", a play on the Japanese poetry haiku and the Filipino expression "Hay, naku!".
The poetry book contains a collection of poems from Arnel Patawaran accompanied by paintings from Heart herself.

According to the author, upon seeing Heart's paintings, he thought it would be delightful to have her art in his book. Arnel is also the current lifestyle editor of one of the broadsheets in the country, Manila Bulletin.
