'I Left My Heart in Sorsogon' actress Heart Evangelista promotes her advocacy about mental health in her latest feature in Vogue Singapore.
Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista became candid as she talked about mental health in the latest issue of Vogue Singapore with Crazy Rich Asians Gemma Chan actress on the cover.
In the feature, the I Left My Heart in Sorsogon actress admitted that she sought professional help in dealing with her anxiety at the time when she was "very depressed."
Now, three years later, Heart has become a very vocal mental health advocate, proudly sharing her own battles and flaws on social media.
In 2020, she even gave a speech about the need to normalize talking about mental health to get rid of the stigma at the virtual international event at Global Town Hall.
She said back then, "It is something that not a lot of people talk about openly. It's still not as normalized as it should be.”
