This isn't the first time that Heart Evangelista has shown designer versions of everyday household items.
Netizens are having a good time poking some lighthearted fun at Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista's latest post on Instagram.
In the post, Heart displayed three hangers. While this wouldn't normally warrant a barrage of comments, the aforementioned hangers are actually from Chanel. A cursory search online shows that the hangers can cost anywhere from USD$45 to USD$56, or PhP2,305.46 to PhP2,869.02, based on exchange rates as of this writing.
Naturally, Heart's Instagram followers began to rib her for the extravagant hanger, the same way they did when she displayed a Chanel candle.
Instagram users @cess.resaba and @derineslyn both brought up childhood memories, saying they wouldn't mind receiving corporal punishment if this was the hanger being used.
Meanwhile, user @chrryzjft remarked that she felt like she was being made to face her own socioeconomic status, especially since her own hangers only cost PhP20 a piece. User @vee_cubs and user @gerlimssss, on the other hand, had conflicting opinions.
Instagram user @ennaed.psd said that it was fine that Heart was making her feel how poor she is, while user @jeoctii remarked that if these hangers were ever used outside, it would be the ones stolen and not the clothes.
It isn't just her Instagram followers that like to poke fun at some of Heart's more luxurious belongings.
Even fellow celebrity, former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, had a bit of fun joking about how it was Heart's fault that she was showing off her Yves Saint Laurent shoes and Dior handbag.
Aside from the now infamous Chanel candles, another occasion where Heart showed some of her designer duds include her unboxing of the designer items that were given to her by Vogue Magazine, including a fragrance from Chopard's Haute Parfumerie that retails for anywhere from PhP11,000 to PhP13,000 and an Hermès lipstick.
