"Camera doesn't need to be 'on' for you to help," replied Heart Evangelista to a Twitter user after the latter asked about Heart's efforts in helping the victims of Typhoon Ulysses.

One netizen on Twitter caught Heart Evangelista's attention after the former tweeted the actress about whether she has donated to the victims of Typhoon Ulysses.

"Sorry 'di ko ata nakita pero nagbukas na ba ng wallet si Heart Evangelista? 'La lang, cure use (curious) lang," the Twitter user wrote.

Upon seeing the aforementioned tweet, Heart then promptly replied to the Twitter netizen and said, "Camera doesn't need to be 'on' for you to help."

In terms of Heart's actual efforts, she regularly goes online to personally message and donate to those asking her for help. She will also be hosting an auction on her Instagram account @shopmaisonlovemarie of her favorite designer pieces, the proceeds of which will go to the victims of the typhoons.

Last June 2020, Heart donated 550 tablets to students who need it for their online classes.
