For Heart Evangelista, the two most important men in her life are Reynaldo Ongpauco and Chiz Escudero.
In celebration of Father's Day, GMANetwork.com conducted interviews with several Kapuso stars, including global fashion and style icon and the current president of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Heart Evangelista.
During her interview, Heart expressed how much she loves her husband, Chiz Escudero, who is also a father to his twin children, Quino and Chesi.
While Chiz and Heart do not yet have children of their own, Heart sees Chiz's paternal side shine through in his interactions with the twins.
Heart described Chiz as a father, saying, "Si Chiz, bilang isang dad sa mga anak niya iba siya. Sobrang supportive niya, parang ako pa nga 'yung strikto pero napaka-blessed ng mga bata na meron silang ganung klase ng tatay kasi he's very present."
The actress spends as much time with Chiz's kids, especially during vacations. The whole family previously explored the beauty of Japan together, enjoying various activities as a family.
Aside from Chiz, Heart also mentioned her dad, Reynaldo Ongpauco. The two are also known for their close father-daughter relationship.
Reflecting on cherished memories, the Kapuso star shared how special it is for her to see her father and husband Chiz bonding together. Witnessing these two important men in her life connecting always brings her immense joy.
"My best moment with my dad, alam mo kapag nakikita ko sila ng asawa ko na magkasama. Natutuwa ako kasi nadudugtong ko kung saan ako nanggaling at saan ako ngayon so it really matters, it's really special to me," she said.
Meanwhile, Chiz paid tribute to all dads, including his father-in-law in an Instagram post. Chiz mentioned Reynaldo in the caption, "I also pay tribute to my father-in-law Rey, whose steadfast support for me and Heart has been a cornerstone of our journey together."
Heart took to the comments section as well to express her love and greeting to Chiz as she wrote, "Happy Father's Day!!! Love you babe."
