Heart Evangelista revealed the heartbreaking news today [April 21] about Linda, the aspin that she recently introduced in social media.

According to Heart's Instagram story, she lost her foster pup.

She wrote, "I lost Linda today... I only had a day with her before I sent her to the vet :( I was really going to take her. I had a long talk with Panda."

Heart added that she was devastated by what happened.

"First time in a long time I felt a spark with my foster pup... crying like a baby. Such a sad morning."

Heart also posted a sweet message for Linda. She wrote, "You will have the best life now, Linda... No more pain."

The Kapuso star also posted some of the precious moments she had with Linda.

"She was so attached to me... she would sleep beside me while I painted... this was her for a few seconds... then took her to her bed."

Heart added another image of her pup and said, "Even if we had a few hours together thank you for making me feel happy, First time in a long time I felt something very special. We will miss you angel Linda."

Heart revealed that she spoke to her dad after what happened and gave her a message.

"Not the type to post stuff like this but I guess we are all so vulnerable these days"

"My dad told me maybe she was sent to save a loved one. I've seen fostering since I was 13 and it's always hard to give them away but it's the first time I feel like I failed."

Heart said even if she is heartbroken, she won't stop fostering.

"I've had cases of unhealthy dogs but they always seem to survive. Never lost a pup. Although this won't stop me from fostering."

She added, "Just really really loved her. I knew she was going to end up with us."

Before she ended her posts, Heart wrote a note that people should consider adoption.

"Adopt don't shop... they have so much love to give."
