Heart Evangelista posted a short but heartfelt message for the late Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago to commemorate her birthday.
Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista remembered her “second mother,” the late senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago on what was supposed to be her 75th birthday.

Heart continued her tradition of commemorating Senator Miriam's birthday and shared some snaps on her Instagram.
“My mentor, my angel, and my second mother,” Heart wrote in the caption.
“Happy Birthday!”

Senator Miriam was dubbed the ''Iron Lady of Asia.' She ran for president three times, in 1992, 1998, and 2016.
She died peacefully on September 29, 2016, after battling lung cancer.
