Heart Evangelista shares updates on her health and reflects on taking care of herself.
Kapuso actress and host Heart Evangelista reveals being rushed to the hospital for an undisclosed reason.
On her Instagram Story, The People Have Spoken star noted she had already been discharged and was grateful that things were okay.
"Thank you Lord I'm home and out of the woods," she wrote.
"To all the nurses and doctors who were so sweet to me, [especially] the ones who I could hardly speak to cause of my situation, thank you for being so gentle."
In another Instagram Story, Heart posted a photo of her bruised arm.
"To my sweet angel who knows the story behind this situation...don't worry it's ok. Kidneys are happy again...sorry for crying," she said.
"I don't like romanticizing certain situations but it was one of my hardest wake-up call. Health is wealth," she added.
The Kapuso star also reflected on the experience, a friendly reminder to take care of oneself.
"Don't work for the approval of others. Work for yourself," she noted.
"I am so done giving 200 percent just to please the ones who never liked you to begin with. I will work to make ME happy and for my own personal 'purpose.'"
Heart also thanked her friends for their messages and gifts during her recovery, including John Prats.
Before the post, Heart Evangelista was seen in her busy schedule as an actress, icon, and host.
Earlier this June, Heart teamed up with Kapuso host Sean Lucas for GMA Comedy's newest game show, The People Have Spoken, which airs every Saturday at 6:15 p.m. on GMA.
