Heart Evangelista tells reason for canceling plans to attend fashion week events.

On a Twitter post on Monday, March 9, Heart said she made the decision last January for safety reasons.

Heart is one of the personalities who is always seen in fashion week events.

"For those of you asking or concerned, I've decided last January to cancel all of my fashion week trips for safety reasons. That's why I was absent during fashion week.”

She also said, “I pray for everyone's safety. God bless us all"

Heart's fans showed concern after news about Vietnamese heiress Nga Nguyen being tested positive for coronavirus came out.

According to reports, Nga Nguyen and her sister Nguyen Hong Nhung came from Europe, where they attended several Fashion Week events including the Saint Laurent show in Paris, France and the Gucci show in Milan, Italy.

The latter country currently has the most number of cases of coronavirus infection with more than with more than 7,000 cases and 366 deaths.
