Heart's tattoo is not just a fashion statement but a permanent reminder of her love for her husband, Chiz Escudero.
In an episode of Heart World, the fashion icon opened up about the personal meaning behind her left wrist tattoo, 'Love.'
"Before, this was for vanity, but it did mean more than that," pointing at her wrist.
She shared that she got the tattoo from Chiz's love letter, which is his handwriting.
"It will always be here because all of this shall go away, even this will fade away pero kung ano talagang nasa puso namin," she shared.
She added, "I didn't want a ring, and I didn't want anything else to have him with me till I am gone, so the best way probably was to have him here."
Heart noted that the tattoo mattered to her because she did not know how close and long she could be with Chiz.
The tattoo is even more meaningful as it represents the enduring strength of their relationship.
