Heart Evangelista donates relief goods in Pampanga

Heart Evangelista extends help to the victims of the typhoons and habagat.

Celebrities and netizens alike continue to come together in the spirit of bayanihan, responding to the devastation caused by typhoons Crising, Dante, and the southwest monsoon (habagat).

Among those stepping up is Kapuso actress and Global Fashion Icon Heart Evangelista, who recently launched a relief goods initiative with the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. (SSFI).

In a series of Instagram Stories, Heart gave a glimpse of the preparation efforts--showing containers filled with rice and canned goods being carted and organized for donation.

The relief packages are set to be distributed to families and individuals affected by severe flooding in Pampanga, bringing much-needed aid and hope during these challenging times.

Last year, Heart was appointed as the new head of the Senate Spouses Foundation in the Philippines. With Francis "Chiz" Escudero appointed as the new Senate President, Heart was traditionally assigned to the position as his spouse.

Among the Kapuso actress' first fundraising projects was to sell her hand-painted Hermès bag to donate the proceeds to the organization.

Outside the foundation, Heart was already known to be one of the generous celebrities in showbiz. She even personally visited an evacuation center in Marikina to distribute donations to typhoon victims.
