Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista lives up to her title as she shared a short video showing the collaborative project she did with Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd.
In a minute and a half-long video she posted on her Love Marie Escudero YouTube channel, Heart revealed some snippets of the work she did with Brandon Boyd as part of a project with the Moonlight Arts Collective. The Moonlight Arts Collective is founded by Brandon Boyd.
After showing her journey to meet Brandon, the video shows clips of the two working on a shared painting, with audio snippets of their conversation played throughout the video.
Watch the video below.
The video comes after Heart announced last year that limited edition prints of the collaborative artwork would be sold. That announcement, on the other hand, came after Moonlight Arts Collective first teased the collaboration back in August 2021 through an Instagram post.
Heart's creative collaborations are definitely a source of pride, enough for Lifestyle Asia magazine to name her one of “The 21 people who shaped 2021.” The magazine noted her “positive and equally massive impact on society,” and placed her alongside social media superstars Bretman Rock and Bella Poarch, acclaimed actor John Arcilla, contemporary artist Ronald Ventura, Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Ressa, and fashion designer Michael Cinco.
Heart isn't the only celebrity who pursues art outside of the entertainment industry. Check out some celebrities who worked on their own artistic projects during the quarantine in the gallery below.
