After collapsing during Milan Fashion Week in 2025, Heart Evangelista is now putting her health first, admitting that a grueling run of nonstop shows and events pushed her body to its limits.

Heart Evangelista has committed to prioritizing her well-being after briefly blacking out during Milan Fashion Week in 2025, which she attributed to exhaustion from a packed schedule of shows and events.

In a candid recollection in Heart World's latest episode, the Fashion Icon shared that she had attended around 14 shows, on top of multiple engagements, leaving her physically drained.

Heart recounted how the incident happened shortly after attending a show by Versace.

She said, “14 shows tapos may mga events pa ata saka ang dami pa na 'di na kaya kasi made-dextrose na yung videographer ko, si Tin. Nahimatay din ako sa Milan, by the way, na-black out ako sa gitna ng daan after the Versace show. Parang nanlalamig ako na 'di ko maintindihan, akala ko dahil sa kinain ko or something. Sumuka ako nang konti pero walang lumabas."

Heart added she suddenly felt dizzy before losing consciousness, later waking up surrounded by people who had caught her outside a restaurant.

She went on, "Sabi ko, 'Halika na, umuwi na tayo.' Totoo pala yung mga saying na nakakita ka ng mga bituin, ang dami kong nakitang bituin. Tapos sabi ko kay Ghil (Heart's hairstylist), parang hihimatayin ata ako pero akala niya nagjo-joke ako.

"Alam mo talagang pak... 'di ko na matandaan. Nagising na lang ako hawak-hawak na nila ako. Ando'n kami sa labas ng restaurant, nahimatay ako sa daan."

Following the incident, Heart emphasized the importance of proper nutrition, hydration, and rest, especially amid the demanding pace of global fashion events.

"So after that, sabi ko, 'Okay, kakain na po ako talaga. I make sure that I drink a lot of water."
