Dennis Trillo and Maja Salvador teamed up for the romantic drama movie You're Still The One in 2015.

Their turn in the movie was not exactly hot topic, until a photo of them as Jojo and Elise resurfaced after six years.

If you're a sucker for mystery thrillers, you would think it's reminiscent of Nanno (Chicha Amatayakul) and Nanai (Teeradon Supapunpinyo), the characters from the trending Thai anthology Girl From Nowhere, at first look.

The said photo was uploaded by Facebook fan page "Netflix Diaries." on May 9 and has since gone viral, garnering 374,000 reactions and more than 56,000 shares on the social networking site at this writing.

Some netizens even jested that You're Still The One is the Filipino adaptation of Girl From Nowhere.

For those who haven't seen Girl From Nowhere, it follows Nanno, played by a mysterious, clever girl who transfers to different schools, exposing the lies and misdeeds of the students and faculty at every turn.

Nanai is a character from the Netflix series' second season's first episode titled "Pregnant." Nanno seduces Nanai so she can get closer to him to take revenge for those who have been impregnated by him and were forced to get abortions out of shame.

On the other hand, Jojo and Elise are college sweethearts in the '90s in You're Still The One, hence the school uniforms and old school hairstyles. So it's funny how Dennis and Maja got easily compared to Nanno and Nanai.

If you're one of those who miss seeing Dennis on the TV screen, he will soon star in the new TV series Legal Wives.

In the series, the Kapuso actor will play Ishmael, a Muslim who falls in love with three different women.
