Herlene Budol to her grandfather: 'Ikaw talaga ang founder ng budol!'
Actress and beauty queen Herlene Budol shared a sweet moment between her and her grandfather.
In a short video, Herlene tells her grandfather who she calls Tatay Oreng that she is off to taping.
"Pa-kiss muna," she says as she leaves a kiss on her grandpa's cheek.
"Mag-ingat ka, anak," Tatay Oreng tells her.
"Pasok lang akong taping. I love you," Herlene adds.
"Love you too," he answers.
Then, Herlene notices Tatay Oreng's wallet and jokingly asks him for money.
"Ano 'to? Wallet check! 'Tay, pahingi naman ako P500," she says.
"Bakit?" he asks, surprised.
"Pangme-merienda ko lang mamaya. Isasauli ko din. Okay lang? Okay lang sa'yo? she answers.
"Okay lang. Yes!" Tatay Oreng says while handing her P1,000 made up of two P500 bills. He keeps another P500 bill for himself.
Herlene then comes clean and says that she is merely joking and doesn't really need the money.
"Dapat ako na 'yung nagbibigay, hindi na ikaw 'yung nagbibigay," she tells her grandfather.
Still, Tatay Oreng insists that she take the money.
"Eh anong malay mo. Baka may emergency," he argues.
Herlene says that she is touched at how her grandfather cares for her.
"'Yung tipong ako 'yung may trabaho pero pa siya 'yung nabibigay. Soldi talaga ang mga lolo't lola," she says to her audience.
Herlene then hands back the money to Tatay Oreng and their conversation takes a funny turn.
"Magkano 'yan?" the man asks.
"One thousand," she says.
"Parang tatlo 'yan eh," he says, referring to the number of bills.
Herlene couldn't help but laugh at her grandfather.
"Dalawa lang! Modus mo lang pala 'yun ah! Ikaw talaga ang founder ng budol!" she exclaims.
"Budol-budol?" Tatay Oreng jokes.
"Ang bilis tumubo, naging tatlo!" Herlene adds.
Tatay Oreng once again tries to get her to take the money.
"Kunin mo ito, oh," he says as he hands her the money again.
"Joke lang. May pera ako," Herlene explains.

Herlene was raised by her grandparents, Tatay Oreng and Nanay Bireng.
Nanay Bireng passed away in 2022.
Aside from taping shows, Herlene has been busy working on her fitness.
She found a workout buddy in her Tiktoclock co-host Kuya Kim Atienza.
Herlene also recently underwent basic training for riding motorcycles.
