
Korean drama celebrities are among the highest-paid stars in Korea. It is no wonder since K-dramas have definitely increased popularity worldwide in the past years, and the brightest Korean stars are being given more prestige than ever.
This 2021, actor Kim Soo-hyun tops the charts of most bankable K-drama actors. He was already earning around $240,000 or 11,600,000 PHP in 2020 for every episode of his 2020 drama It's Okay to Not Be Okay.
His paycheque got even higher this year as he is reported to be getting 500 million won or approximately $600,000 for every episode of his upcoming drama That Night, the Korean adaptation of British hit TV series Criminal Justice. That Night is scheduled to air later this year.
Jun Ji-Hyun remains one of the most well-loved Korean actresses ever since she rose to fame in the 2001 film My Sassy Girl.
She recently made headlines after she made a guest role as a feisty female character named Ashin in the widely acclaimed Korean zombie series Kingdom. She is reported to have a paycheque of $120,000 per episode.
Hyun Bin is a timeless K-drama oppa. From hits such as My Name is Kim Sam Soon and Secret Garden to 2019 hit Crash Landing on You, he has continuously won the hearts of fans globally.
Hyun Bin is said to be earning a whopping $113,000 per episode for his future projects in 2021.
Among the other celebrities who made it to the list are actors So Ji-sub, Jo In-sung, Lee Min-ho, Song Joong-ki, Ji Chang-wook, and Song Hye-kyo.
In 2020, Kim Soo-hyun and Hyun Bin were also included in the cream of the crop for the highest-paid Korean actors.
