Dubsmash Queen of the Philippines Maine Mendoza received a pleasant surprise after one of her idols replied to her Tweet.
Maine who rose to stardom via her viral dubsmash videos is a fan of Canadian YouTube sensation Lilly Singh. According to several reports, Ms. Singh ranked third in the Forbes list of highest paid YouTube star for 2016.
The AlDub superstar learned that Lilly Singh is in Manila and tweeted that she wants to meet her. The latter saw Maine’s tweet and replied to the Eat Bulaga host.
She said, “How sweet! Thank you! I hope to meet you one day as well”
In other news, Maine is fresh off her big win at the 48th Box Office Entertainment Awards last May 14 where she and Alden Richards bagged the Princess and Prince of Philippine Movies recognition.
