Arashi reads The Adventures of Son Goku


Arashi read 'The Adventures of Son Goku' to entertain children who are stuck at home due to COVID-19.

Top Japanese idol group Arashi did a special reading of children's story "The Adventures of Son Goku" which they dedicated to children and parents who are forced to stay at home due to the threat of COVID-19.

They previously read "The Three Little Pigs" as the first installment of the series.

"The Adventures of Son Goku" is a children's story based on the classic text "Journey to the West." It tells the story of how Son Goku defeated the Goblin King.

The members admitted that they were unfamiliar with the story but were excited to read it for kids.

This time, Masaki Aiba will be the narrator. Satoshi Ohno got the coveted role of Son Goku while Sho Sakurai will play Hakkai the pig and Kinkaku the Goblin King. Kazunari Ninomiya will be Sakojo the river monster and Jun Matsumoto will be Father Sanzo, the monk.
