In an episode of 'El Gordo y la Flaca' of Univision network, one of Paolo's transformations got a racist remark from talk show host and fashion expert Rodner Figueroa.

Many commend the mind-bending make-up transformations done by Eat Bulaga host Paolo Ballesteros.

However, in an episode of El Gordo y la Flaca of Univision network which aired on March 12, one of his transformations got a racist remark from talk show host and fashion expert Rodner Figueroa.
The live episode featured Paolo’s transformations into top celebrities and personalities which included the US First Lady Michelle Obama.
Figueroa then said, “Well watch out, you know that Michelle Obama looks like she’s from the cast of Planet of the Apes, the movie.”
His comment has inescapably gained different opinions and he consequently lost his job in the American Spanish-language entertainment news show.
