Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita Ssen “Wyn” Marquez is seen wearing around an embellished crown made of rubies, diamonds, and silver, and she still can’t believe it, “Oh my gosh! I am?”

The first Filipina and the only Asian who won the Bolivia-based beauty pageant is still not used with the attention even she’s already a celebrity in the Philippines.

“Hindi pa rin ako sanay sa attention na binibigay sa akin ngayon because it wasn’t like this before. Kailangan ko pa masanay kasi nahihiya ako ‘pag maraming tao na biglang lalapit sa akin at kumakausap,” Wyn shared with GMANetwork.com during her courtesy call in her home network.

She even reminisced how her pageant sisters reacted on her win in the Latina-dominated competition, “They congratulated me. Pinuntahan nila ako backstage, [and] even on stage [ay] biglang naglabasan ‘yung iba. Doon pa lang [ay] makikita mo na they’re for diversity, and they’re open. Hindi sila close-minded, iyon ang maganda.”

The Pinay beauty said she will promote the Hispanic culture in the Philippines and in Asia.
