"Communication is a little difficult, but it is still fine because Alexander is here," said Andy.

South Korean actor Andy Ryu has been in the Philippines for quite some time now as he is part of the Kapuso rom-com series My Korean Jagiya, where he portrays the character Lee Gong Woo.

In an exclusive interview with Andy, he said that he's definitely loving his stay here.

According to Alexander Lee, who helped in translating the interview, "The food and the people so far are good, it matches me (Andy). The people are very nice and close, makes me very comfortable and everything is very interesting and fun."

Andy admitted however that the language barrier with his Filipino co-stars is a bit difficult to overcome. "Communication is a little difficult, but it is still fine because Alexander is here. So far, communication is not really a big problem. My listening is better than speaking so I could understand but speaking is a bit difficult for me," he said.

And fortunately for him, he gets to work with Heart Evangelista in My Korean Jagiya who makes him feel at ease while on set.

"Heart is very pretty, and while shooting, she makes it very comfortable to work with. She really takes good care of me and she would initiate a joke. She's very outgoing," shared Andy.
