He progresses by sharing an insight he discovered during his marriage.

“But once you get married, couples tend to forget the goals they've set when they were still dating.

I know this because there was a point in time when our goals tend to revolve around our family, most especially our kids.”

“These can be small things,” he says.

“Like forgetting to workout together and even disregarding date night.”

He continues, “Then we realized that we gave our kids too much affection even if they aren't babies anymore.”

With this, he says, there are two things that can happen. “One, you're not giving your kids an opportunity to grow independently.

“And second, you begin to forget both your individual goals and your goals as a couple.”

But, the comedian shares that it isn't too late for other couples like them to rediscover their spark.

“It doesn't have to be grand. You can start simple like walking together after having a sumptuous dinner or eating street food together as a couple and remembering the days when you were still dating.”

He advises, “Your goals as a couple should be treated like your own child. And definitely love your relationship as much as you love your own kids.”
