Zephanie dealing with her bashers

LEAD: Sparkle actress-singer Zephanie: 'I think we all have the right to defend ourselves at some point.'

Sparkle diva Zephanie gave her two cents on how to best deal with bashers during the online event of the Kapuso Brigade this Thursday afternoon (May 2).

Zephanie, together with Ariel Villasanta, attended the Kapuso Brigade Zoomustahan event, where they got to promote the May 4 finale episode their story "Mga Hero ni Jiro" on Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko.

In the interview portion of the Zoomustahan, GMANetwork.com got the chance to ask Zephanie if there came a point she answered back to her bashers online.

The Sparkle talent admitted that she would rather not read these nasty comments about her on the internet.

But she reiterated to GMANetwork.com that at some point, one really has to defend himself from negative stuff thrown at him, especially those comments that are just too offensive.

Unless na lang po talaga super sensitive siya, I think we all have the right to defend ourselves at some point. Zephanie noted.

In "Mga Hero ni Jiro," Zephanie plays Lucy, the sister of Winnie portrayed by Althea Ablan. They are statues in the story that came back to life and will try to teach an important lesson to Jiro (Marco Masa) on how to be brave.

According to the multi-talented Kapuso singer, getting projects like a fantasy series really helps actors to stretch their imagination.

Zephanie added that doing Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko will furtner hone your skills on how to better understand the role you are portraying.
