Lougee Basabas and Ali Alejandro

Former dabarkad Lougee Basabas and musician Ali Alejandro tied the knot in 2015 in the scenic Balesin island.

Time flies fast for showbiz couple Lougee Basabas and Ali Alejandro.

In December 2015, the former Eat Bulaga rakista married the son of OPM singer Hajji Alejandro and the late TV host-beauty queen Rio Diaz at the Balesin Island Club in Quezon.

Ali is also the younger brother of singer Rachel Alejandro.

Fast-forward to today, Lougee and Ali recently marked their 5th wedding anniversary last Saturday, December 12. The happy couple had the opportunity to spend some alone time without their two adorable kids: Leon Christof and Zoe Rionna.

Parents need a break sometimes and it was Lougee and Ali's chance to celebrate the special occasion just between the two of them. Mrs. Alejandro's happiness showed last weekend when she wrote this sweet yet funny message on Instagram for Mr. Alejandro on the day of their anniversary.

“Five years!!! First time to be alone in ages! [We're] running around like headless chickens not knowing what to do with our temporary freedom. 🤣 Happy 5th wedding anniversary mahal ko,” Lougee said.

The couple had their first child, Leon Christof, in August 2016. And earlier this year, in the middle of the enhanced community quarantine being implemented around the country, they welcomed their daughter Zoe Rionna on April 18, 2020.

For those who don't know, Lougee and Ali were bandmates in the OPM pop-rock band Mojofly. The group, which was formed in 1999, is known for singles like "Mata," "Another Day," and "Tumatakbo."

Lougee replaced Kitchie Nadal as lead singer of the band in 2003. Nadal, who is the voice behind the OPM hit single "Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin" left the band in to pursue a solo career.

Lougee is just one of several celebrities who gave birth during the pandemic. Aside from her, another celebrity who had to go through giving birth during the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) was internet sensation and one half of former love team JaMich, Mich Liggayu.

She gave birth to Baby Anastasia on March 24, 2020.

Meanwhile, Unang Hirit host Luane Dy gave birth to her son with Carlo Gonzalez, named Jose Christiano, on May 2, 2020.

It's time for your weekly dose of cuteness, mga dabarkads.
