Despite earning dual nominations for best actor and best supporting actor, Park Jeong-min left last week's Blue Dragon Film Awards without a trophy. Many fans had hoped he would secure at least one win, following his acclaimed performances as both father and son in Yeon Sang-ho's experimental thriller The Ugly and as freedom fighter Woo Deok-sun in the period epic Harbin.
Undeterred by the loss, Park brought humor and energy to the stage, joining singer Hwasa for a live rendition of "Good Goodbye" a performance that revisited scenes from her music video in which he had appeared. As Hwasa made her exit, Park playfully shouted, “Take the shoes!” creating one of the night's most talked-about moments.
The actor's lively response quickly caught fire online, with fans dubbing him “No-Trophy Park,” a tongue-in-cheek nickname that highlighted his charm and made him one of the evening's biggest winners in spirit.
