Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin emerged as major honorees at the 2025 Blue Dragon Awards, one of South Korea's most prestigious institutions recognizing excellence in film.
This year marked a historic moment, as it was the first time a married couple simultaneously won Best Actor and Best Actress. The two also secured popularity awards, earning the most fan votes among their category.
Hyun Bin received the Best Actor trophy for his performance in Harbin, a historical biographical drama where he portrayed independence activist General Ahn Jung-geun.
Meanwhile, Son Ye-jin clinched the Best Actress award for No Other Choice, a dark comedy thriller in which she plays the spouse of the character portrayed by Lee Byung Hun.
In their acceptance speeches, both stars expressed gratitude and made heartfelt mentions of each other and their son.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin rose to global fame through the hit Korean drama Crash Landing on You.
The pair married in March 2022 and welcomed their first child later that year, in November.
