“The Promise," the second installment of GMA Network's newest and one-of-a-kind weekly drama anthology I Can See You that premiered last night, October 5, is off to a good start.

A lot of Kapuso viewers expressed their approval of the pilot episode of the “The Promise."

The week-long series stars Kapuso A-list stars Paolo Contis, Andrea Torres, Benjamin Alves, and Yasmien Kurdi. Also joining them is actress-host Maey Bautista.

It follows the story of a widowed multi-millionaire Frank Agoncillo (Paolo) who falls in love with an aspiring artist named Ivy Teodoro (Andrea), who is willing to go to great lengths to take her family out of poverty.

Directed by Zig Dulay, “The Promise” airs from October 5 until October 9, on GMA Telebabad after Encantadia.
