In the first week of I Left My Heart in Sorsogon, celebrated Manila-based fashion designer Celeste (Heart Evangelista) made her homecoming in Sorsogon when she found out that her estranged father Patricio (Rey PJ Abellana) had a heart attack.

Aside from being a fashion designer, Celeste is dating the equally-celebrated and the most eligible bachelor in Manila, Tonito (Richard Yap).

Unknown to many, Celeste's relationship with Tonito is not approved by his older sister Vivian (Marina Benipayo) and his daughter Tiffany (Kyline Alcantara).

Although Vivian disapproved of his relationship with Celeste, Tonito still proposed to her at Vivian's birthday celebration, much to her and Tonito's ex-wife Aurelia (Issa Litton) dismay.

But the celebration was shortened when Celeste's estranged half-brother Basti (Mavy Legaspi) called to share that their father had been confined in a hospital.

Because of her father's condition, Celeste went home to Sorsogon. To Celeste's disappointment, it was not a heart attack but only heartburn.

In Sorsogon, Celeste also visited the grave of her deceased mother, Lucinda (Isay Alvarez). Celeste had a falling out with her father Patricio when he wanted to break up with Lucinda to be with Adora (Shamaine Buencamino), the mother of Basti.

Now that she's in Sorsogon, Celeste also unexpectedly saw her first love, Mikoy (Paolo Contis).

I Left My Heart in Sorsogon airs Mondays to Fridays on GMA Telebabad after 24 Oras.
