'iBilib' consistently adheres to the standards set by the agency.
GMA Network's infotainment program iBilib was recently recognized by the National Council for Children's Television (NCCT) as one of the programs adhering to the Child-Friendly Content Standards (CFCS) by the agency.
The NCCT is the lead agency responsible for promoting and encouraging the production of broadcast-quality television programs for children. It develops a comprehensive media plan that initiates, promotes, and supports quality TV programs that help children improve their critical thinking and communication skills.
The agency also ensures that children in the Philippines will have access to quality television programs that are creative, informative, educational, and entertaining.
iBilib, hosted by Chris Tiu, Shiara Diaz, and the curious and cute puppet MikMik, dives deep into the world of science through the special features of “All the Answers,” various experiments and trivia, guest experts, and amazing inventions and life hacks offered by the hosts.
This is not the first recognition that iBilib has received. Back in November, the show also won the Child-Friendly Television Award at the NCCT 2024 Awards.
Kapuso Sweetheart Shaira Diaz also received her first award when she was chosen as one of the Makabata Stars at the Anak TV Seal Awards 2024.
According to the actress and TV host, it was a “pinche-me moment” for her to win her first award after entering showbiz in 2012
“Nakakaiyak… ang saya-saya ng puso ko ngayon. Hindi ko akalain na darating ang pagkakataon na ito. Wahhh… Maraming, maraming salamat po sa @anaktvinc for this recognition--Female Makabata Star 2024 for Television at the Anak TV Seal Awards!! Salamat din po sa jury! This will serve as my inspiration to do better in my work and continue to be a role model for the youth,” Shaira wrote on Instagram.
She also thanked those who supported her, “Maraming salamat din sa aking @gmanetwork, @sparklegmaartistcenter, @alvtalents, @gmaibilib, at @unanghirit family sa tiwala ninyo po sa akin…”
“Thank you also to my supporters, my friends, and family--especially my mom and dad, and my love, @ea_guzman. Para sa inyo ito… Thank you, Lord Jesus! To God be the glory…,” her caption read.
