
IC Mendoza is giving himself another chance after opening up about returning to smoking earlier this year following nearly a decade without cigarettes.
In a candid Threads post, the TV personality shared that he had successfully quit smoking for eight years before picking up the habit again during a trip to South Korea. What started as "pa isa-isa lang" eventually became more frequent, prompting him to make a fresh commitment to stop.
"Today, I choose to quit again. No guilt. No excuses. Just a fresh commitment," IC wrote. He added that announcing his decision on social media helped him stay accountable the first time he quit, which is why he decided to share his promise once more. "Kinaya ko ng 8 years, so for sure kayang kaya ko ulitin... This time, for good na!" he said.
His post resonated with many netizens, serving as a reminder that setbacks can happen and that starting over is always possible.
