In her social media post, Ida praised the brilliant story of the family drama movie written by Michael V. himself.
She said, "This very Pinoy dramedy is straight forward, well written and finely concocted to move viewers to tears and then make them burst into laughter."
Ida added, "Michael V. is a meticulous craftsman and a creative genius."
Family History is the first team-up of Michael V with actress Dawn Zulueta in the big screen.
The movie is now on its second week and is graded "B" by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
